The founding of the blog

The aim of this blog is to write about metal music and the metal scene from a firmly antiracist, antifascist, antisexist and antihomophobic standpoint. The blog gives space to bands, expressions and perspectives that disrupt the white cis-hetero male norm. We welcome discussions and different perspectives within the limits of one basic principle: to take for granted the equity and human dignity of all people.
This means giving no space to racism, fascism, colonialism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and similar systems of dehumanisation. We want to give a platform for metal as a truly global phenomenon, and highlight both artists, projects and viewpoints that champion what really should be no question: human dignity, equity and the right to fully live for all.
